Gitea
Gitea is a lightweight, self-hosted Git service that bundles repository hosting, code review, issue tracking, CI/CD, and a package registry into a single low-resource binary. It was forked from Gogs to keep the project independent and community-driven.
What gets deployed with it
- PostgreSQL HA Cluster — required Gitea requires an external relational database for production use. SQLite is not suitable for multi-user deployments.

What drives the cost
- Active users
- Number of users who actively interact with Gitea daily. Primary driver for CPU and memory sizing.
- Repository storage (GB)
